As we emerge into the 'new normal', into this world of COVID, climate change and a new focus on struggles for justice, the church needs to radically reimagine what it means for children and young people to be disciples as more and more of them want to be agents of change rather than just learning about changes that happened thousands of years ago.

Join us as we explore how engaging children and young people in being Just, Like Jesus can make them Just Like Jesus.

SE Partnership New Beginnings Jan 2020.j

Even before the COVID19 crisis, the Children's Society's annual "Good Childhood" report was charting a continued decrease in happiness among 10-15 year olds in the UK. In 2020, 15 year olds in the UK were among the saddest and least satisfied with their lives in Europe.

That cannot be what the Lord wants for our children and we will be exploring together how we as workers, parents, volunteers and church leaders can respond in 2021 and, in Jesus' name, make it the year that the tide begins to turn.

A CHRISTMAS

LIKE NO OTHER

with INPUT FROM A WIDE VARIETY OF CHILDREN's, YOUTH AND FAMILIES' MINISTRY PRACTITIONERS AND AGENCIES

By mid November we hope to have a fair idea of what the COVID19 restrictions around Christmas celebrations will be, so join us to share in a wide variety of presentations, discussion and debate around just how we celebrate the birth of Light in a season that this year feels full of darkness.

With input from major mission agencies and workers on the ground with great ideas, come and find inspiration on how we can reimagine Christingle, rework the Nativity and engage with children, young people and families in a brand new way this Christmas.

EFFECTIVE
EVANGELISM ONLINE

with DAN RANDALL

COVID19 accelerated the shift of children's and young people's worlds from face to face to online. With everything from PE lessons to GP appointments now available on screen, to be absent from the internet is to be out of sight and out of mind.

Dan Randall shared his insights on how we safely and effectively engage in the online space, exploring how to effectively share the Gospel online and equip our children and young people to do the same. All full resource pack accompanying his session can be downloaded for free by clicking here.
